Question 1

Can SaffronSeal notaries act as I-9 authorized representatives?

Accepted Answer

Yes — notaries verify the new hire's identity and employment documents in person, complete Section 2 of Form I-9, and return the signed form. The employer remains the legal employer of record.

Question 2

What is an apostille and do you handle it?

Accepted Answer

An apostille is a certificate that authenticates a notarized document for international use in countries party to the Hague Apostille Convention. We notarize the underlying document and walk you through the Secretary of State submission. Some states accept walk-ins; others require mail.

Question 3

Do you offer business accounts or volume pricing?

Accepted Answer

Businesses book exactly like individuals today, and every signing is itemised on its own receipt. If you have regular volume, email hello@saffronseal.com and we will set up a way of working that fits.

Question 4

Do you support corporate signers (LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp)?

Accepted Answer

Yes — board resolutions, operating agreements, vendor contracts, and corporate certifications are all common bookings. The notary verifies the individual's identity; the corporate authority is established by the document itself.

Question 5

Can an I-9 be completed online?

Accepted Answer

USCIS allows remote document examination only for employers enrolled in E-Verify under its alternative procedure. Most SaffronSeal I-9 bookings are in person; talk to your immigration counsel before choosing an online session.
